Daniel 3-4 | Heaven Rules

God will go to extraordinary lengths with leaders to make them understand that God is the King over heaven and earth and no one else.

Read Daniel, Chapter 4. God had given Nebuchadnezzar multiple opportunities to understand this truth. In Chapter 4, we read of a dream he had and of Daniel given a sobering interpretation. If the king would not acknowledge God, he would be removed from his office and “eat straw like an ox.”

If you read the story, that is exactly what happened.

Heaven rules. Any leader who says, like Nebuchadnezzar, “Is this not Babylon the great, which I myself have built as a royal residence by the might of my power and for the glory of my majesty?” is in for a rude awakening.

If we will not humble ourselves privately, God will humble us publicly.
